The Chaplain’s Office is responsible for pastoral ministry on the school campus.
From Sacramental celebrations to organising retreats for students, faculty and staff, the Chaplain seeks to work in collaboration with members of the school community in responding to its various spiritual needs. We seek to nurture the Catholic Faith of the individuals who form our community and complement the Catholic education the students receive. Students are afforded many opportunities to participate in various social action programmes during the year, including Out of the Cold, food drives and visits to the elderly.
Every day begins with Morning Prayer and Mass at 7:30 a.m. in the school chapel. Home-room Masses and all-school Masses, as well as the Sacrament of Reconciliation, fill out the school calendar. The Chaplain is available for visits to classrooms to speak on specific topics and lead discussions. He is present in the Pastoral Care Centre through the day should students or staff want a quiet place to talk about personal issues or concerns or to celebrate the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
