Purpose: To provide an opportunity for students to become aware of the challenges and threats facing God’s creation and creatures, and to explore potential solutions to pressing environmental concerns in the spirit of faith-based stewardship. Each week, the Green Council will work to familiarize itself regarding the state of the environment and to positively respond, in some small way, to a resolution of problems through a variety of means: consciousness raising and education; letter-writing campaigns; direct action; internal school environmental audits; or fundraisers.
