November 27 is the biggest football game of the year between our team, the Kerry Blues, and our arch-rivals from last year’s Metro Bowl: Huron Heights.
The game starts at 11:00 a.m. and is being played at Esther Shiner Stadium at Bathurst and Sheppard.
If there is sufficient student interest, we will rent buses to go to the game and return again. This is open to all students’ grades 7 – 12.
The cost is $10.00 and that includes the bus trip as well as entrance into the game. Tickets go on sale beginning tomorrow and will take place during each lunch hour in the cafeteria for the next several days.
Before you can actually purchase this ticket, you must have a parent permission form filled out completely. This permission form may be picked up anytime after school in the main office.
We will not accept any other form or letter in place of this official parent form issued by the school, nor will be accept any phone calls or faxes giving this permission. NO EXCEPTIONS PERIOD.
Only those students who have no commitments are allowed to go. That means, for example, that any and all students who have music practice in preparation for the concert on Thursday evening may not participate in this event.
Students who have purchased tickets will be dismissed from classes on Thursday, Nov. 27 at 10:00 a.m. the buses will leave promptly at 10:30 a.m.
All buses will return to school immediately after the game and all students must return on these buses. Students will miss half of period 2, all of periods 3-4 and possibly 5 depending on the return time. Students will be expected to be back in their period 6 class at the end of the day.
There will be no private cars allowed to go to the game….NO EXCEPTIONS.
There will be more information forthcoming about dress code for that day.
