The 49th Annual St. Michael's/Nike Basketball Tournament was held on January 8 - 11. The tournament was a great success as 16 of the top teams in the province competed. Eastern Commerce took the Championship over Mother Teresa in a thrilling final. The Blue Raiders lost a tight game to Cathedral in the opener, and then got knocked out by Northern. The Alumni game was also played on the Saturday night which included 17 former players, who had a great time re-living the glory! Next January will mark the 50th anniversary so keep an eye out for details of this Tournament.
