Duane Notice '12 and Team Canada Wins Bronze at the FIBA U-17 World Championship

On July 11, Team Canada defeated Lithuania 83-81 to win bronze at the inaugural FIBA U-17 World Championship in Hamburg, Germany. Canada had an overall record of 5 wins and 3 losses.

Duane Notice ’12 competed with Team Canada and accumulated 48 points over 8 games. Duane is widely considered a top Canadian prospect. Last summer, he played for Canada's U16 team, which finished third at the FIBA Americas. He was named MVP. The 6’2, 205-pound guard was most recently named co-MVP at the Jordan Brand Classic International Game.
