SMCS Spring Athletics

The spring athletics season at St. Michael’s College School was an extremely successful and all student-athletes are commended on their strong efforts, determination, and for representing the school with pride, on the field, court and diamond. Here are a few highlights from our spring athletics season.

The Varsity Lacrosse team completed a perfect CISAA season with a 10-7 gold medal finish over St. Andrew’s College. The Blue Gaels advanced to the OFSAA Championships as the tournament’s number one seed, where they claimed OFSAA gold over St. Peter’s.

Both Jr. and Varsity Badminton teams competed at the CISAA championships. Both teams competed well, and the Junior team won the school’s first CISAA Badminton title!

The Varsity Baseball team continued to dominate in CISAA action, winning their third straight CISAA title and 11th overall title in the past 14 years this season and advanced to OFSAA regionals.

The U-14 Softball team had an excellent undefeated regular season, led by a potent offence and stellar pitching, finishing first place and moving on to the CISAA Finals where they were victorious.

The Varsity Tennis Team’s Jack Sarabia (first singles player) competed at the OFSAA Provincial championship in the Open Mixed Doubles category. Partnered with Tilly Rigby from St. Clement's School the pair brought home OFSAA Gold!


The co-ed Ultimate Frisbee team advanced to the CISAA Championships and finished with a win over Toronto French School to finish seventh in the association.


The Archery team advanced to the Provincial Championships and showed well.
