SMCS Summer Camps

The SMCS Summer Experience provides youth with exciting academic, athletic, and artistic outlets, as well as opportunities to learn and grow within a fun and interactive environment. 

Our summer programme provides youth with the skills, resources, and mentorship necessary to maximize their potential while learning valuable life lessons, core values, and making lasting friendships.  

SMCS Camps are staffed by respected professionals who are enthusiastic and committed to providing campers with meaningful and memorable experiences. 

Upon registration a camp waiver must be filled out and returned to St. Michael's College School prior to camp start date. 

Academic Camps

Literacy Camp

Cost: $315 + HST
Dates: August 21-25
SMCS students only (entering Grade 9) 
Meal Plan Included  

The St. Michael's Literacy Camp provides students entering Grade 9 the opportunity to enhance their aptitude with the printed and spoken word. The programme helps students develop proficiency with their written, verbal, and visual communication skills, and cultivate competence in critical reading and text analysis.

Schedule:
Monday to Thursday 8:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Friday 8:30 a.m. - 12 p.m.  (no lunch provided due to short day

Math Camp

Cost: $315 + HST 
Dates: August 14-18 
SMCS students only (entering Grade 9)
Meal Plan Included
 

St. Michael's Math Camp offers students entering Grade 9 the opportunity to consolidate and strengthen their numeracy skills. The programme is designed to develop confidence with existing math skills, and ease the transition into secondary school mathematics. This camp is recommended for students who wish to strengthen and/or develop their math skills. 

Schedule:
Monday to Thursday 8:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Friday 8:30 a.m. - 12 p.m. (no lunch provided due to short day)

International Summer Academy:
Italy, France, Spain, Croatia

Dates: Month of July 
Cost: $5,995 

SMCS Students only 


The International Summer Academy (ISA) is intended for young men infused with academic curiosity who wish to explore beyond the confined of a traditional classroom. ISA provides students with the opportunity to expand their intellectual and cultural horizons by studying in historically significant and culturally stimulating international centres. 

Students registered at St. Michael's will be granted permission to take part in the international Summer Academy if they meet course prerequisites.

Music & Art Camps

Art Camp

Cost: $425 + HST | Ages 10+
Dates: July 10-14
8 a.m. - 4 p.m. 
Co-ed 
Meal Plan Included  

The Art Camp offers a creative and innovative programme that will inspire young artists. With projects ranging from painting to sculpting, to contemporary art forms including silk screening and graffiti. The programme promotes creativity and exploration through engaging activities.

Yamaha Sounds of Summer Drumline Camp

Cost: $100 + HST | Ages 12+
Dates: August 22-24  
10 a.m.- 5 p.m.

Meal Plan Included 

St. Michael's College School Drumline and Yamaha Canada Music, in partnership with the Canadian Drumline Association will be hosting a "Sounds of Summer" drumline camp. The camp is open to all a students in Grades 7-12. No experience is necessary. Participant fee is $100 for three days and lunches and all equipment are included.
