Application Process

Complete Candidate Information:

Provide Academic Documents
Families are required to scan and upload copies of the candidate's final report cards from the previous two years as well as a copy of the current school progress report. Candidates seeking entrance to Grades 11 or 12 must submit and Official Transcript and the Credit Counselling Summary

Completion of Student Reference
As part of the application process the student reference is emailed to the candidate's past/current principal or teacher through the online application.

Once an application is initiated, candidates are required to complete an interview. Families are asked to register for one of the 'Shadow a St. Michael's Man' dates, as interviews will be facilitated during those days. If it is not possible for the candidate to attend one of the Shadow Days, an interview must be scheduled through the Admissions Office.

Complete the Secondary School Admission Test (SSAT)
(only for candidates seeking Grade 7,8 or 9 entrance)
  • The SSAT is an aptitude test which is written at a selected location on a selected date.
  • The character Skills Snapshot is a 20-30 minute tool which is administered online in a candidate's home or other location with internet service.
  • Families register for the SSAT and the Character Skills Snapshot directly at Please ensue results are sent directly to St. Michael's College School using code 6800.

Submit Application Fee
Payment of a non-refundable $125 application fee. Families wishing to make a payment via mail or in person should contact the Office of Admissions.

Apply for Bursary Assistance by Friday, December 1 2017 (if applicable)

  • Applications for all grades are currently being accepted on a rolling admissions basis
  • Applications for Grade 7 and 9 that were received by Friday, December 1, 2017 are guaranteed a decision by February 21, 2018.
