Financial Assistance Programme

St. Michael’s College School awards approximately $2 million per year for needs-based entrance bursaries, along with additional funds for our current students through awards, and the graduating class as exit scholarships. The funds are made available by St. Michael’s College School, the St. Michael’s College High School Foundation, and through the continued generosity and support of our alumni, parents, and friends.

In order to establish a named bursary, award or scholarship at St. Michael’s College School a minimum gift of $25,000 is required.

However, the donor may donate a gift of less than $25,000 up-front with the balance due within 5 years (e.g. donate $10,000 up-front and pledge $15,000 to be payable over 5 years at $3,000 per year). The Donor intends for the gift to be used to establish a perpetual endowed fund in trust with the School to establish a bursary upon the terms and conditions agreed upon by the donor and the School.

Smaller gifts may be considered for special prizes or awards; however, the donor should consult with the Office of Advancement prior to making the gift. As well donations can be made to honour or in memoriam to an already established bursary.
