Transit

The St. Michael’s College School Centre for the Arts is conveniently located to major transit routes:

The St. Clair West Subway stop
  • South Exit – Exit under Loblaws, walk West, turn North on Bathurst and walk until reaching the Centre for the Arts
  • North Exit – Exit onto Tichester, walk West, turn North on Bathurst and walk until reaching the Centre for the Arts
The St. Clair West streetcar
  • Get off at St. Clair and Bathurst, on the East side of Bathurst walk North until reaching the Centre for the Arts
The Bathurst 7 Bus
  • Get off at St. Clair and Bathurst, on the East side of Bathurst walk North until reaching the Centre for the Arts

Mobility Devices Accessibility

The Centre for the Arts is fully accessible for all patrons.

  • We can accommodate up to 8 patrons with mobility devices. Companion Seating is available upon request.
  • Please contact the Theatre if you require a seating location for a mobility device. Seating has to be removed to accommodate mobility devices and we would like to be prepared when you arrive at the performance.

Hearing Assistance Services

The Centre for the Arts maintains an Assistive Listening System for patrons who are hearing impaired.

  • If you require an assistive listening device please see the Front of House Staff
  • You will be requested to leave proof of identity to borrow a headset and will be returned when the headset is returned.

Front of House Rules

  • There is NO food or drink allowed inside the theatre. As St. Michael’s College School is a nut free environment we ask that our patrons do not bring nuts to the Centre for the Arts
  • The St. Michael’s College School Centre for the Arts is a Fragrance Free Zone. We request all our patrons respect and consider those with allergies and sensitivities.
  • Latecomers will be seated at an appropriate time during the performance by the Front of House Staff
  • Babies are not permitted at the Centre for the Arts. This policy is strictly enforced out of respect for all audience members, and as a courtesy to our visiting artists. The only exception to this policy is if the sponsoring group has specifically advertised that “babies are welcome” in the venue. Patrons entering the venue for a ticketed event must possess a valid ticket, including babies.
  • Service Animals: Patrons with disabilities who are accompanied by a service animal will be permitted to the Centre of the Arts provided the animal is clean and under the owner’s control.
  • Photography, Video Taping, Recording: The taking of photographs and the use of an audio or video recorder by patrons during the performance are strictly forbidden at most events. Patrons must comply or they will be asked to surrender such equipment to the House Manager’s podium for the duration of the performance.
