Visual Arts at St. Michael’s consists of a wide spectrum of styles and techniques from across the globe.

SMCS arts students receiving an art history lesson from their teacher.

Students develop knowledge and skills through industry-related assignments in media and digital art, as well as the more traditional skills of painting, sculpture, and drawing. Visual Arts students are taught about the connections between works of art and their historical contexts.

Celebration of the Arts Week is held each spring at St. Michael’s to appreciate and honour the achievements of our students. During this week, the Lecture Hall is converted into an Art Gallery and the cafeteria becomes CLUB BLUENOTE, our own version of a jazz club.
