The Mentorship Programme at St. Michael’s connects current students with alumni from a wide range of industries and education. These mentorship opportunities give students access to real world knowledge so they can prepare and plan for their future.
St. Michael’s College School Mentorship programme includes professional mentorship, post-secondary mentorship and Grade 11 Career Day.
St. Michael's professional mentorship programme is designed to connect current students with professional alumni presently in the work force. This is an opportunity for students to get candid answers to important career related questions.

The post-secondary student mentorship programme connects St. Michael’s students with current post-secondary students. Students may wish to arrange for a personal campus tour which coincides with the student’s visit to the university.

Since 2003, St. Michael’s has offered an Annual Grade 11 Career Day. In January, alumni from a wide range of industries, including medicine, finance, banking, engineering, business, law, entrepreneurism, art and government, share their professional, academic and life experiences with over 200 students. The purpose of the day is to allow students to explore future career possibilities. The day includes a keynote speaker who kicks off the day speaking to the entire Grade 11 class. The rest of the day is spent in small breakout sessions where 12 alumni speakers spend time with students sharing their academic and professional experiences and life choices.
Past speakers have included Nick Di Donato ’76, President and CEO of the Liberty Entertainment Group; Sergio Marchionne ’71, CEO of Fiat S.p.A. and Chrysler Group LLC; and Robert Deluce '68, President and CEO of Porter Airlines.
