The office is responsible for the signature fundraising and ‘friend raising’ events at St. Michael’s and works with both the Parents’ and Alumni Associations to build and inspire a lasting community that will support and advance the success of the school. It is only possible through collaboration with donors, philanthropists, private and public organizations, and the community, that St. Michael’s can continue to transform lives through education.

As the first point of contact between more than 11,000 Alumni and the school, the Alumni Affairs Office helps graduates stay connected and feel a part of the school community through events, mentoring, networking opportunities, and communications.

Philanthropy is a large part of the Advancement role which aids in ensuring that the school continues to be able to support a wide range of experiences, opportunities, and events for the students for years to come. The growth of our endowment through the St. Michael’s College High School Foundation is a key factor in most of the fundraising, outside of capital campaigns, to ensure that the school’s Financial Assistance Programme remains viable for those qualified students with a financial need.

Donations from the SMCS families, alumni, and community keep us at the forefront of the students’ education. We truly appreciate all our donors, alumni, families, and friends.

Giving Opportunities

St. Michael’s College School requires assistance to ensure that the Basilian Fathers’ mission of Catholic education continues. Funds are needed to grow the endowment which fully supports financial assistance for qualified students. It is essential that the endowment increases to ensure that St. Michael’s can continue to offer a minimum of $2 million in financial assistance annually.

There are many ways to give to SMCS that will make a difference to help us create a positive and exciting learning experience that will last a lifetime!
